Good morning NYT Games friends. It’s nice to see that we are almost out of January, which has proven to be the LONGEST MONTH EVER.
The Games today were a fun mix of obscure, easy, and whatever is in-between. Connections proved to be straightforward with the exception of Purple (it definitely just happened for me). Connections Bot had this rated as a 2/5 difficulty, which feels appropriate. (Who am I kidding? The Bot is the culmination of people’s averages who already played the game, so OF COURSE it was appropriate.)
NYT Wordle, at least for me, was very tricky and took me all six guesses. Kristen only needed 2, because she’s a show-off. My starting word of ROATE was next to no help, so be sure to use Kristen’s favorite, LATER.
Finally, NYT Strands was relatively obscure for people like me who need to read more poetry. However, with the help of one hint I was able to figure out the rest relatively easily.
That’s all for today. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to subscribe for daily updates direct to your inbox!
