THAT WAS A CLOSE CALL, FOLKS. I swear there were a million red herrings in this one today, along with trap doors and smoke screens and whatever else you can think of. Purple was also ridiculous (as usual) so good luck on today’s puzzle.

Another solved puzzle in three guesses! I can’t explain my luck on this game lately but it is sure to run out sooner or later. Starting word of ROATE revealed two letters in the correct place right out of the gate. Guess 3 was a matter of “I bet this is what they’re doing,” and welp, I was right.

OK GONNA BE HONEST: I needed one hint today when I played this the first time. The problem is I played it on my phone, and it didn’t translate over to the web browser version when I started writing this update. So even though the results above show perfect, I was anything but today. Fun puzzle today!
